The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering and Support Center, Huntsville is conducting a sources sought of service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses to complete the renovation of building 247 at Ft Myer, VA.

This renovation and repair project is to repair the failed and failing condition of The Old Guard barracks. Project will bring Ft. Myer’s Historic Barracks Facility into compliance with the current Army Standard for Unaccompanied Enlisted Personnel Housing (UEPH). The Army’s UEPH calls for a 1+1 barracks layout.
The Building 247 Renovation and Repair Project shall consist of systems upgrades for maintenance and sustainability purposes, interior space reconfiguration and interior finishes upgrades for quality of life purposes, minor new construction for accessibility purposes, repair all windows, removal of Asbestos Containing Material (ACM), removal of lead base paint (LBP), repair/replace inoperable or damaged Fan Coil Units, ATFP compliance including Progressive Collapse and compliance with Seismic Design of Buildings.

The range of mangnitude for this project is $24M-$32M.
